Here are some tips to make your stay a bit more enjoyable:
Red River Town Hall is located on Main Street, in the heart of town. It houses Emergency Services: Marshals Office, Fire Department, EMTs and Search and Rescue. It also houses Town of Red River offices as well as the local Chamber of Commerce. Maps, local guides (including the Red River Miner Summer Guide) and brochures on area activities are available in the lobby next to the Chamber office door.
Red River is a 911 town. If you need emergency assistance, dial 911 and excellent help will be rapidly heading in your direction.
There are three ATM money machines in town: J. Griffin Company (the gas station/deli/store on West Main), Centinel Bank at the corner of East Main and Copper King Trail, and Der Markt (the grocery market).
The Red River Trolley is a great way to see the sights and get from place to place. It runs from one end of town to the other on a regular schedule throughout the summer season, at no charge. Once you get to town, park your car and walk or flag down the trolley.
There are Catholic, Episcopal and Baptist service held weekly at St. Edwins Catholic Church. Faith Mountain Fellowship Church also conducts worship services on a regular basis. During the summer the Red River Community House holds Sunday morning services and a Gospel Sing-Song on Sunday evenings. The public is always welcome to worship in their own fashion.
Red River Radio KRDR-90.1 FM programs a wide variety of popular music and also dishes out local information on special events, the weather, and items of interest.
Red River now has a clinic. Mogul Medical is located on Pioneer Road in the Red River Ski Area Lift Building at the foot of the "Face." They offer all clinic services and have great expertise in keeping Altitude Sickness from ruining your fun.
